The main house features five bedrooms each with private bath, a spacious kitchen with pantry and an airy, light dining room seating 20 persons. Each sleeping room has its own entry and either a deck or balcony with views of the lake, mountains and rain forest.

There is a large communal deck off the dining room so that meals can be taken al fresco if desired. In addition there are four separate bungalows perched high on the hillside, each with its own kitchen and deck or porch for splendid views of the lake and rain forest.

The doors, windows, cupboards and furnishings are all handcrafted from tropical hardwoods by one of Costa Rica's top artisans. Ceiling fans and orthopedic mattresses are featured in all bedrooms.

In March of 1995 construction of the main building and on one bungalow was completed and VILLA DECARY opened as a bed and breakfast. In December of 1999 the additional three bungalows were finished, increasing the total capacity to 5 rooms plus 3 bungalows offered as guest accommodations. A fourth bungalow is occupied as owner's quarters.
