| Howler monkeys regularly visit the property and are the best of neighbors, along with occasional anteater, tajon (a type of mink) and armadillo.
The bird life is incredible with over 120 species identified on this seven acres, ranging from toucans and parrots, to tanagers, trogons, honeycreepers, euphonias and other winged jewels.
The climate is ideal, with little annual variation in temperature. Warm days and cool nights insure excellent sleeping conditions and air conditioning is never needed.
The Lake Arenal region of Costa Rica is green year-round due to sufficient rainfall, with the wettest months being October, November and early December. |
